I qualified with a Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body Massage through ITEC in 1998 after studying at the North London School of Massage. I enjoyed a full time, challenging, but successful 20 year career in teaching, health, childcare and education including studying for a BA (Hons) in Education and Training (2001) and a MSc In Environmental Management (2011). Throughout this time I became very aware of the importance of being holistic in my approach to health and wellbeing. This lead to a continual interest in alternative and complementary health therapies and lead to further ongoing study and qualifications in Reiki, Bach Flowers, Hot and cold stone massage and Indian head massage.

After experiencing health challenges and an unexpected bereavement within my own family, I decided to change career to follow my interests and since 2015 I have been studying at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London (CNM). This has included Naturopathy and Nutrition as well as biochemistry, biomedicine and the process of iridology, tissue salts, detox and many clinic hours.

My career working with a broad range of diverse families and children, as well as my five years working in bereavement support has enabled me to have a sensitive approach to working positively and realistically with clients who wish to address health and wellbeing issues.

I believe small changes can have a big impact and I work in a way that looks at peoples’ individual needs and commitments, ensuring my plans are realistic, effective and achievable. I give people time to focus on themselves so that they can encourage and restore balance within lives that are frequently busy and over stretched. I work in a way that keeps the persons holistic needs at the core of the process, ensuring that the root of any problems are considered and not just the signs and symptoms. This therefore encourages long term, authentic and attainable positive changes.

I am a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT),  The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and am registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
